FURNITURE DESIGN
Design and build
Have designed and built several furniture pieces for personal use as well as designed many items for a mail order furniture company. Also worked several years designing custom cabinetry, including: home offices, pantries, closets, entertainment centers, and garage storage. All of which enhanced my understanding of interior space and human scale.
TYPOGRAPHY
Fulfilling a need
A connection in the machining industry expressed a need for single line fonts. I studied Typography and designed many single line fonts (Onelinefonts.com) along with a few conventional fonts. I can design a typeface or logo for you.
ABOUT
Designer with a Master of Architecture from the University of Utah with background in many design disciplines. Can design as much or as little of your dream home or remodel from the plans, furniture, lighting, and even the font used for your house number so everything is connected.
Solid background in sustainable design with expertise in thermally efficient building envelopes, particularly ICF’s (insulated concrete forms). Not only designed many projects using ICF’s, but also have hands on experience building with ICF’s.
Well versed in Social Space. Understanding how the physical environment affects social interaction and well-being. I can apply these principles to your project.
I will strive to understand your needs and goals so that my skills, with your input, can bring your vision into being.
